Alice in Chains will "definately possibly" Release a New Studio Album

I guess the title says it all. Alice in Chain's guitarist Jerry Cantrell is quoted as saying that the band will "definately possible" release a new studio album in 2008 with vocalist William DuVall. After two highly successful tours, the band is charged and ready to write new music. There is no doubt that there will be a new Alice in Chains studio album, the only doubt is if it will be ready for release in 2008. "I don't think you can put a time limit on it, because first we have to come up with a record we're satisfied with, and I think we can do that," Cantrell is quoted saying. This news is good for any Alice in Chains fan out there. It will be good to hear some new material after these years.

Zeppelin Won't Tour the States

Im sure that most, if not all, of you have heard of the short Led Zeppelin tour in London. This caused a surge of rumors and speculations that they would bring their tour to the states and have a full blown tour. Well, these speculations were put to rest by Robert Plant who says "There'll be one show and that'll be it." This news comes to the dismay of many Zeppelin fans, including myself. Plant is also quoted as saying "When I do come back from touring, I'm shocked to find a lot of my mates tend to be going to bed far too early, and that means I should probably be doing the same. Maybe I should stop having a good time and get old." It looks like the hope of a United States tour for Led Zeppelin has been washed away.
